Kriss Akabusi is a former British athlete, television presenter and motivational speaker. After a successful spell in the army, Kriss became a 400m runner, winning medals at Olympic, World Championship and European Championship level. Kriss then stepped into the entertainment world and presented programmes including Record Breakers and The Big Breakfast. In 1992 he was awarded an MBE for services to the country through athletics.
