Jack and his mother are poor and hungry and have no money to buy food or firewood and have to sell their cow to survive.

On the way to market, Jack meets a man who offers to buy the cow in return for some beans. But when Jack gets home and tells his mother what he’s done, she’s very angry and throws the beans out of the window!

Little do they know that these beans are magic and the next morning they find a huge beanstalk has grown outside their home! And so begins an exciting adventure for Jack as he climbs the beanstalk and discovers a magical, hidden land.
