Zoë Wanamaker is a film, television and theatre actress, perhaps best known for her roles as Susan Harper in the sitcom My Family, and as Madame Hooch in the blockbuster movie Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone. She has been nominated for a Tony award for every appearance she has made on Broadway, including Awake and Sing! in 2008. In 2000 she was awarded a CBE by the Queen in the New Year Honours list.
